ADVANCED TECHNICAL WORKSHOP - £299 including light lunch and refreshments 
The Advanced Technical Workshop provides a detailed insight into how the Wattbike works. Following the workshop, you will understand how the Wattbike can be used to conduct fitness tests and cycling specific tests. You will also learn how to prescribe exercise and training on a Wattbike, using the powerful analysis capability of the Wattbike Performance Monitor and software to measure and analyse performance. 
 
This intense one day Workshop is aimed at serious cyclists, coaches, health and fitness professionals who want to understand the science behind the Wattbike. During the day you will learn about: 
 
All the Wattbike Performance Monitor functions - A detailed look at all the display screens 
How the Wattbike works, its accuracy, the importance of air resistance, cadence and power relationships - Understanding power (Watts) and how to use it 
How to assess the correct cycling position on a Wattbike - The general principles of bike set up 
The importance of and how to assess and improve pedalling technique - A detailed look at pedalling technique using the Wattbike’s unique force curve (Polar view) using practical examples and material created during the workshop 
How to use the Wattbike Expert analysis software and basic performance analysis - Delving into the powerful analysis capabilities of Wattbike Expert software using practical examples and material created during the workshop 
Fitness and Cycling Testing using the Wattbike & Wattbike Expert Software - Types and appropriateness of different test methodologies on the Wattbike using practical examples and material created during the workshop 
Introduction to Power Cycling software and the Wattbike’s digital platform, the Wattbike Hub 

* WATTBIKE COACHING * 

MONTHLY ONLINE COACHING & TRAINING SUPPORT PACKAGES start from £60 per month. 
 
We can provide training/session plans for you to follow either in or out of the studio. These fully supported packages are bespoke to you. Prices start from £60 per month/block. 
 
MONTHLY WATTBIKE COACHED DROP-INS (using a Wattbike within the studio): 
(only available if you have accurate power training zones - each session is planned around your personal goals, using your heart rate and power training zones). 
 
COACHED PLAN - 4 sessions per block*: £60 per block (1 session per week - to be used within 5 weeks, unused sessions cannot be carried over). 
 
COACHED PLAN - 8 sessions: £100 per block (8 x 60-90min sessions - to be used within 5 weeks, unused sessions cannot be carried over), £12.50 per session, ideally completed 2 x per week. 
 
UNLIMITED COACHED MONTHLY WATTBIKE DROP-INS: £120 per month (as many sessions as you want, in the month) 
 
MONTHLY WATTBIKE COACHING (using a Wattbike or training elsewhere): Training plans can be provided for every training session you complete. These are bespoke monthly packages, starting from £60 per month. 

6 WEEK CYCLING FITNESS COURSE 

Looking to improve your cycling fitness? Book onto our 6 session training block! 
 
With our 6 Week Training Block, you can: 
 
Learn about MMP & FTP 
Learn about using heart rate zones for when riding outside  
Improve your FTP (functional threshold power) 
Improve your MMP (maximum minute power) 
Monitor and, if necessary, improve your pedal technique and effectiveness score 
Improve your power to weight ratio (W/PKg) 
 
Improving cycling fitness can help you enjoy your rides/events much more while seeing an improved performance when racing. But learning about how to apply data like heart rate during those outside sessions is also very valuable . 
 
The 6 session training block consists of the following: 
 
Session 1: Bike set up, learn about the various data and complete a fitness test to help acquire training zones. 
 
Sessions 2-5: these sessions will be 45-90 minutes and based around your specific level of fitness and objectives. These will be carried out independently on a Wattbike at the studio. 
 
Session 6: Complete a fitness test to help monitor and review your block of training. 
 
All 6 sessions must be completed within a maximum or 6 weeks. 
 
Cost £90 (£15 per session) 
If purchased through PAYG, this block of training would cost £140. 
 
Session Times: 
Each session is specific to you so sessions can be completed through our drop in service by booking a day and time that fits into your schedule.

* FITNESS TESTING & PEDAL TECHNIQUE ASSESSMENTS - from £40 * 

Wattbike fitness testing helps you not only to set a bench mark, but it also helps to set the intensity within our classes or in your own training sessions. Both cyclists and non-cyclists would benefit from taking a basic fitness test, available for just £40. The test will calculate your power and heart rate zones. If you require a detailed analysis of your test results, these can be produced and emailed out to you at an extra charge.  
 
THE TESTS  
These are some of the many different fitness tests we use: 
 
3min AEROBIC TEST 
SUB MAX/ MAX RAMP TEST 
10min PROGRESS CHECK (based on 3min) 
20min HIGH PERCENTAGE OF MAXIMUM MINUTE POWER TEST 
 
Periodic fitness tests should be carried out to help show progression and to help adjust training programmes. Book yours today and take your training to the next level.
