Split into 3 sections, the business focuses on Fitness, Training & Performance. Fitness encompasses general Group Exercise and Personal Training – this is clients who simply want to improve their general fitness with no pressure of specific fitness goals or targets. Training is those clients who like a little more focus than a generic session – they have a general fitness goals and require a more structured approach to their training whilst still having flexibility. This may be through Personal Training or Online Coaching. Performance is focused towards clients with very specific goals and targets and includes those accessing Online Coaching packages & Personal Training – it’s very prescriptive and clients on these packages understand that sacrifices will need to be made to achieve their goals.
The facility itself is split into 2 large areas, operating out of 3800sqft. of private space. Studio 1 houses the main reception, lounge, changing and Wattbike Studio while in Studio 2 you will find a large, fully equipped fitness suite used for Personal Training, strength & conditioning and Group Exercise Classes (Circuit Training & TRX Suspension Training). Within Studio 2, we also have the Drop-Zone, where our coached riders or those following their own training plans can use a Wattbike while classes are taking place in the bike studio. Sufferfest is also available in the bike studio. We currently have 14 Wattbikes – 6 Pros & 8 Trainers.
We cater for a wide range of abilities and are not just for cyclists! Our generic instructed classes are suitable for any ability or sports discipline with clients taking from the instructed sessions what they need to. In any one class, you will find a very mixed range of abilities. We also offer a range of coached sessions and packages for those looking for a more personally focused approach to their training.
We currently run 14 instructed Wattbike classes a week, plus 5 x timetabled Sufferfest sessions and 2 x 30:30 classes (30mins bike 30mins circuits). We also run 5 x circuits/TRX classes a week. We always recommend those new to fitness or wattbike to book a free 30min consultation. This way they can discuss the classes and learn more about the studio.
