MSF Fitness is a private Wattbike, Personal Training & Group Exercise Studio based in Telford, Shropshire.  
A small, family business run by Mark & Louise.  

ABOUT MSF FITNESS 

Split into 3 sections, the business focuses on Fitness, Training & Performance. Fitness encompasses general Group Exercise and Personal Training – this is clients who simply want to improve their general fitness with no pressure of specific fitness goals or targets. Training is those clients who like a little more focus than a generic session – they have a general fitness goals and require a more structured approach to their training whilst still having flexibility. This may be through Personal Training or Online Coaching. Performance is focused towards clients with very specific goals and targets and includes those accessing Online Coaching packages & Personal Training – it’s very prescriptive and clients on these packages understand that sacrifices will need to be made to achieve their goals. 
 
The facility itself is split into 2 large areas, operating out of 3800sqft. of private space. Studio 1 houses the main reception, lounge, changing and Wattbike Studio while in Studio 2 you will find a large, fully equipped fitness suite used for Personal Training, strength & conditioning and Group Exercise Classes (Circuit Training & TRX Suspension Training). Within Studio 2, we also have the Drop-Zone, where our coached riders or those following their own training plans can use a Wattbike while classes are taking place in the bike studio. Sufferfest is also available in the bike studio. We currently have 14 Wattbikes – 6 Pros & 8 Trainers. 
 
We cater for a wide range of abilities and are not just for cyclists! Our generic instructed classes are suitable for any ability or sports discipline with clients taking from the instructed sessions what they need to. In any one class, you will find a very mixed range of abilities. We also offer a range of coached sessions and packages for those looking for a more personally focused approach to their training.  
 
We currently run 14 instructed Wattbike classes a week, plus 5 x timetabled Sufferfest sessions and 2 x 30:30 classes (30mins bike 30mins circuits). We also run 5 x circuits/TRX classes a week. We always recommend those new to fitness or wattbike to book a free 30min consultation. This way they can discuss the classes and learn more about the studio.  

ABOUT MARK FENN 

EXPERIENCE: Mark has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, through work and leisure. He is a keen fell runner, taking part in the Winter and Summer fell series for many years. Now he enters events when time allows but still gets out for trail or fell runs several times a week. His cycling experience includes crit racing, road race league, cyclocross, mountan bike racing and Time Trials (10's, 25's, 50's and 100's).

ABOUT LOUISE 

EXPERIENCE: Louise enjoys general fitness. She's a keen runner and was a club runner with Telford Harriers from 2004 to 2013. Starting out with road, she soon found a love for off-road running. She has taken part in events such as cross country, Hell Runner, a Trail+ Adventure Race, various trail running races from 10km to Half Marathon distance, the odd Fell Race as well as a navigational event which took her to 15miles (because they got lost!). She has also tried 2 Sprint Triathlons but decided she wasn't into the swimming! Her hardest running event to date has been the Cader Idris Fell Race in 2010. Also a keen recreational road cyclist, she has completed a small number of Sportives but prefers to ride her bike away from the crowds. Following double knee surgery in October 2014, she left the running for a while and focused on getting fit again through cycling. She has taken part in several Time Trials (10's and 25's) including the local 4-Up Team Time Trial, seeing them as a fun personal challenge rather than anything too serious. In the Winter of 2016, she dug out the mud shoes again and focused on building back up to running with the aim of being able to go out for 1 hour off-road. She is now back enjoying running up to 8 miles in the Shropshire hills.
